Software Engineer

Job Description

Consultant (Software Engineer) needed for Kairos Technologies Inc. located in Irving, TX. Will engage in software engineering. Will travel as the need arises to provide services at various future unanticipated client worksites throughout the US. Will work with web technologies and JavaScript frameworks including Angular, Typescript, and NgRX for front-end development. Will use object-oriented programming languages including C# and .NET CORE 8.0 framework for back-end development. Will work with Amazon Web Services as a cloud tool. Will use SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB as databases. Will design unit tests using Jasmine and Karma frameworks on front-end applications. Will also design unit tests using MSTest / NUnit on the back-end. Will enhance and create new REST APIs on the back-end using C# .NET CORE while facilitating CRUD operations (Create, Read, Update, Delete) and integrating other REST APIs and services. Will perform CI / CD and version control using Azure DevOps and Github. Will deliver and track user stories using Azure DevOps within an agile environment using a SCRUM approach.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, math, business, or engineering and 5 years of overall progressive IT experience which includes 3 years of experience in the skill sets listed above. Will also accept a master’s degree in computer science, information technology, math, business, or engineering and 3 years of IT experience which includes 3 years of experience in the skill sets listed above.
